This directory provides links to over 50 public semiconductor companies that begin with the letter A or a number. Links are provided to the company web site, Yahoo’s 5-year finanical summaries and in some cases, monthly revevue reports. Taiwan-based companies often provide monthy revenue statements.
In general, companies in the monolithic category are fabless companies. A monolithic company may have an in-house wafer fabrication facility, but no reports have indicated that they do. If a company does have a fabrication facility, it is categorized as either an IDM or a pure foundry.
Companies that are of system design-in and engineering technical interest are in BOLD.
There are several large companies, like Amazon and Apple, that have in-house system-on-a-chip design operations. These operations have sometimes been through acquisition. These companies are categorized as Fabless Captive.
